Editor does not launch from PSE 14 Organizer

After more than a year of use, the Editor suddenly does not launch anymore when I try to activate it from the Organizer. The usual message "Launching the Editor workspace" appears, but then disappears after half a minute. The Windows 10 system log shows the following error (I am using a Dutch language version, which I hope is self-evident in this case):

Rapport-id: 43e46023-2c98-4e94-900b-c8cebf9620f9

When I try to start the Editor by activating the exe-file, it reports it cannot find an access point in MSVCP110.dll

Any suggestions please? (I have tried to remove the preference file, as suggested elsewhere in this forum)

Hi rudil,

Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

I understand you are facing issue with the launch of Adobe Organizer 14.

Can we try the following steps:

Firstly,

- Open "Control Panel"

- Open "Programs & Features"

- Repair the following list of programs

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86)

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64)

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86)

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64)

* Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86)

- Restart your machine & check Adobe Photoshop Elements

Secondly,

- Go to location

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\

- Rename "SLCache" to "SLCache.old"

- Go to location

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\

-Rename "SLStore" to "SLStore.old"

If inside C:\ you do not find "ProgramData" folder then it means it is hidden then to open it

- Open "Run" command

- Type %ProgramData%  inside Run command

- Hit "Enter"

Open Adobe Elements & give it some time to open (30 seconds approx)

- It should ask you to activate the product

- Sign in with your Adobe ID

- Enter your serial number & activate the product

Hope this helps

Dear Dhananjay,

Thank you for your prompt answer. However, does it refer to the launch of the Editor? I have no problem with the launch & working of the Organizer as such.
