Editor fails to open in PSE 12

After years of working brilliantly, I cannot access the editor suite in my PSE 12 .  Catalogue is fine.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled (twice).  No change - no editor!

What OS are you using? What happens when you try to launch the Editor?  Do you see a splash screen?

 

Try downloading and installing the free Creative Cloud Desktop application.  There is no need to subscribe to any CC program.  However, it seems to have taken the place of certain licensing operations for Elements and many users of older versions have reported success with this suggestion.

Windows 10.  Nothing happens, no splash screen, no anything!  Will try creative cloud application.
