Editor will not close

I installed photoelements version 15. the editor works but if I want to close the application nothing will happen. With the tax manager I can close it. Why isn't it possible to close the application directly in the app?

    I can understand you are not able to close Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.

    Can we try the following steps:

    - Open "Control Panel"

    - Open "Programs & Features"

    - Repair the following list of programs

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86)

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64)

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86)

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64)

    * Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86)

    - Restart your machine & check Adobe Photoshop Elements
