Editor will not open files from Organiser

Question

In last couple of weeks Editor will not open files from Organiser stating that 'This type of file is not reconised'. I can open the files in Editor directly from 'Finder' though.

I tried several reboots. Working on mini mac operating on Monterey.

Thinking of re-installing Elements 21. Good idea? or any other ideas appreciated. Thanks

Marcus

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about the trouble with Photoshop Elements. We are here to help.

Where are the images located? Do you get this error with a particular file format?

How much free space do you have? Did the issue start after any update?

You may try to re-install the application.

Could you please look at the solution mentioned in this documentation https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/troubleshoot-camera-raw-photoshop-photoshop.html and let us know. If that helps?

Regards,

Ranjisha
