Editor will not open files from Organiser

Question

In last couple of weeks Editor will not open files from Organiser stating that 'This type of file is not reconised'. I can open the files in Editor directly from 'Finder' though.

I tried several reboots. Working on mini mac operating on Monterey.

Thinking of re-installing Elements 21. Good idea? or any other ideas appreciated. Thanks

Where are the images located? Do you get this error with a particular file format?

How much free space do you have? Did the issue start after any update?

You may try to re-install the application.
