    Hi Shannonr,

Sorry to hear that, could you please let us know the operating system you're working on?

Usually deleting a couple of files cures the problem.

On windows vista, 7, 8/8.1 and 10 go to

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\(Version)

    and delete the ThumbDatabase.db3

and in the Locale/en_US folder, delete the MediaDatabase.db3

For windows xp the location is

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\version

After deleting the files, start the Photoshop elements editor and wait for the Content Effects database to rebuild, which could take 10 minutes or so.

    Regards,
    Sahil

I couldn't find those files manually when i looked into those program files so I had to do a search in the c:/program files.

I deleted them and restarted as you said.

    Everything works great again!

    Thank you!

    I have windows 10
