Elememts 12 no longer works with any pen tablet

Sometime last year Photoshop E12 stopped working with my Wacom intuos draw tablet. I just replaced it with a Huion tablet and am having the same no pen pressure issue. What is going on is your program now obsolete? If so then that's a pretty shady buisness practice.
