element 24 organiser not loading

Question

Since I tried to divide up files and create a new catalog  the organsier will not load up.  I get a message saying that an abnormal exit has been detected.  I uninstalled elements and reinstalled it and the problem perists even when I tried to create a brand new catalog.  I would be prepared to  unistall and start again if that would help.

My first question is why are you dividing your files into a new catalog? What method did you use?

To solve your problem, try the following:

Press the shift key while launching the Organizer. This should open the Catalog Manager
Choose the [Current] catalog and open it.
If that doesn't work, use the Shift key again, select the [Current] catalog and press Repair. Once the repair is completed, open the catalog.
If that doesn't work, use the Shift key again and choose a different catalog to open OR create a new catalog and open it.
