Elements 10 and Directx

Good Evening,  I am trying to install Elements 10 on new computer with Windows 10.  The software loads ok but when I try to go to organizer it stops me and tells me to download Microsoft Directx.  Downloaded it and still get flag.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled directxt several times, but still get stopped needing Directx.  Never needed this when I installed elements 10 on computer that hard drive died on.  Was and am using computer just for photos.  Thank You.
