Elements 10 Not Working

Hi - I am not able to use the Downloader for getting media from camera/folders. Downloading from a folder results in the message 'Organiser has stopped working' with an option to close the program. Downloading from camera results in Error Code c0000005/6cc6346b.

I have run the sfc/scannow tool, and re-installed Elements 10.

I don't know if this is relevant but the problem may have started when I downloaded photos from iPhone. I opted out of using Elements 10 as wanted to lad drirect to a folder - maybe disabled something in Elements 10 as a result ?
