Elements 10 user wants to update to Elements 2020
If I currently have Elements 10 installed, will Elements 2020 update or completely replace 10?

Elements 2020 will happily sit alongside Elements 10. They are both independent apps.
When you first launch Elements 2020 you will get the option to convert your existing catalog. This will create a catalog compatible with Elements 2020 but your Elements 10 catalog will remain untouched.
Once you are happy with Elements 2020 you can uninstall Elements 10 if you have no further use for the older app. Or you can keep both versions installed.
