Elements 11 import bei Sony a7II

Hallo,

bisher hatte ich immer mit Canon fotografiert und meine RAW Daten in Elements 11 importiert. Nun habe ich mir die Sony a 7II zugelegt und möchte auch von Ihr die RAW (ARW 2.3) Daten in Elements 11 übertragen. Das funktioniert nicht. Meldung: Daten beschädigt oder Dateiformat nicht erkannt. An was kann das liegen?

    nochmals vielen Dank für die Hilfe, das mit dem DNG-Konverter hat super funktioniert.

    Ich möchte nun doch von Elements11 auf Elements18 upraden, werden meine in Elements11 angelegten Ordner beim Upgrade auf Elements 18 übernommen?

    Your Elements version is too old to support a much newer raw format (each new camera comes with its own, unique raw format).

    If you don't want to pay the upgrade to the current elements version (2018) read this faq:

    You'll find the link to download the latest Adobe DNGconverter in that faq. The latest verson is ACR 10.0.

    That independent plugin (not a plugin) is free. It can batch convert a whole folder of your raw files to the DNG raw format that your PSE11 can read and edit. Same quality and free, but with an addtional (batch) step.

    First, you may find Elements 2018 sold by big online resellers at a better price than the upgrade price. Even Adobe offers better prices during periods like the last 'black Friday'.

    And yes, if you install PSE 2018 on the same computer, it should find the current catalog and convert it to its own format. You can also start the catalog conversion from the menu 'File >> manage catalogs'.
