Elements 12 loading issue

I have installed my disc version of Elements 12 on a new PC but when I try to access via the installed desktop shortcut and click on Photo Editor within the software it sends me to the Adobe sign in page with QR code and weblink... I use the link and sign into my Adobe account but nothing happens thereafter and I am unable to access PS Elements... any help would be much appreciated

Try disconnecting from the internet and activate your license offline, using the instructions found here.

How many computers and/or OS changes have you previously installed the program on? If you did not deactivate previously, you may run into problems.
