Elements 12 / Monterey problem

Elements 12 loads and seems to function as normal on Monterey and the copy and paste functiont allows working on clipboard.  However, it is impossible to print, to export or save the completed work file in any format.  The program shuts down if that is attempted!
 Any workaround suggestions would be sppreciated.
