Elements 12 - No Content Aware option

In my Elements 12 using Content Aware in Edit / Fill Layer / there is no option for Content Aware, only Pattern.

Don't. Adobe no longer has version 13 available. Where are you finding version 13?

Photoshop elements 13 was the first version to have Content Aware in the Edit>Fill dialog.

Just curious, what do you expect the 'content aware' to do when filling a layer?

Match the existing surounding 'color', I'm aware I could use color picker, but I've seen in tutorials the option Content Aware
