A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Organizer fires up and freeze immediately!!

    I opened it as an admin. and it seemed to resolve my issue.  was having an organizer failure for the longest time.

    Sorry I never found a way to see or much less click “CORRECT”

    Create a NEW CATALOGUE – worked

    Q. If I had backed up would all my tags, people, places be in tack?

    What I did try:

    1. Reset preferences – Didn’t work

    2. Repair - Didn’t work

    3. Optimize – Didn’t work

    4. Install the latest update of Photoshop Elements – Didn’t work

    5. Reinstall your Application – Didn’t work

    What I didn’t try:

    Reset Online Service preferences

    Reset save preferences

    Admin rights

    Compatibility mode

    TO resolve the crash for your older catalog, please try out these steps:

    1. Open the new catalog that you have created.K.
    2. GO to Edit > Preferences.
    3. In the Preferences dialog:
      • In the Media Analysis tab, deselect all checkboxes.
      • In the Files tab, deselect the checkboxes:
        --Automatically Search for and Reconnect Missing Files
        --Automatically Generate Thumbnails for Video Files
    4. Start Elements Organizer.
    5. If Organizer launches without any issues, switch back to your older catalog.
