Elements 12 thinks i have a trial version after using it for 3 years!

I bought and have been using Elements 12 with no problems since 2014; recently I subscribed to Lightroom and Photoshop CC and since using LR, Elements now flashes sign in requests and implies I am using a trial version, and doesnt recognise my sign in details. It opens my catalog but wont open the editor without me signing in and wont let me sign in.  What on earth is happening?

    Inconvenience is sincerely regretted.

    I would request you to please uninstall and clean install the application again with same key that you already have.

    It should work fine then.
