Elements 12: WACOM intuos tablet DOESNT WORK ANYMORE HELP!!!

Dear Adobe

Since a few weeks my WACOM tablet doesnt work anymore on Photoshop Elements 12

(I have windows 10 on a HP Pavilion laptop)

I have a WACOM intuos CTH-680

Please dont blame wacom because on all other program's the tablet works fine!!

I have (re)installed the latest drivers from wacom

PLEASE HELP!!

problem description:
you can move the pointer via the tablet but as soon as you want to draw... nothing!

the day before it works and suddenly it works not... I have tried a lot of things and spend hours changing settings to solve but nothing works...

    Well, here it is almost November and there doesn't seem to have been a solution to this problem.

    I am a very unhappy Elements customer.

    Adobe: Please deal with this.

    We were not intended to draw with a mouse.

    Same problem here. I have Elements 13 and Wacom digitizer and an old Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet that work fine in all programs except Photoshop. Making them pretty much useless.

    Same here, with elements 14 and wacom intuos classis pen & touch medium

    Just rolled back to earlier Windows version and it works again just fine. Looks like 1709 is the culprit.

    Turned of auto updates for now (don't like to but no choice).
