Elements 13 black and white to colour.

Hi all

So i have been having a play with colouring in some black and white old photos.

But have found that when i come to save them as a Jpeg file it seems to convert back to black and white. what am i doing wrong?

    Tim, what was the Image > Mode of pictures you have colored before saving them?

    In Editor, go to Image menu>Mode and check "RGB Color."
