Elements 13 [Can open Organizer but not Editor]

I have installed Elements on my Macbook Air. I can open into organiser but cannot open into the Edit function. I keep getting a prompt to open from Applications folder but opening from there will not open the Edit function. I have reinstalled on several occasions to no avail. I have had no response from the forum - where is the Adobe team?!!

    I am assuming that you are using the MAC App Store version of PSE13.
