Elements 13 Re-Install

Have had to re-install from disc Element 13. On opening the programme to start using it a screen appears saying there is an update to correct some errors and to update the Raw section. I have tried both Install now and Install Later and get the Installer screen which indicates that the update has been installed.

However, when you then restart the programme the screen about updates being available reappears and you cannot use the programme.

Anybody had this problem and how have they overcome it. Not being able to properly contact Adobe and get a chat line with a Technical person is most infuriating

Thanks for the response. In the end I had to re-install Windows 10 and then

Elements which seems to have cured the problem. However, the problem that

started this off still persists namely if you go to eLive and click on any

of the topics it opens a blue windows screen which then turns white but

there is no content. Applies to all the topics. Any ideas on that one?

    Pete
