Elements 14.1 will only print to PDF

When I try to print a JPEG, TIFF or PSD and select the printer, on hitting enter I am taken to the PDF save dialogue panel.  If I cancel and try to print again, I will see the PDF programme as the printer.  If I change it back to the printer, it will still only allow me to save to PDF.  If I save to PDF, the file created is just a blank page.

I have checked for updates but my system is supposed to be up-to-date.

I have only seen one other similar report on the forum, for which there was no resolution.  I live in hope.
