Elements 14

I purchased Elements 14 through Amazon a few years ago and have been using it successfully. A few weeks ago I created an Adobe Account thinking that Newsletters etc may be useful, this may not be relevant.  A few hours ago I noticed when using Elements that I was "signed in" so,  thinking that was not necessary I "signed out"  When I open Elements now I get a box inviting me to start a 30 Day Trial prior to purchase however, as stated, I have already made a legitimate purchase.  I have tried re-installing from the CD but it has failed on 3 occasions.  Using a Mac, recently upgraded to High Sierra, the upgrade gave no issues and Elements 14 operated normally before and after the upgrade.  It's only since I  "signed out" this evening that the problem occurred.  Help appreciated,  many thanks.
