elements 14 damaged

I have photoshop elements 14. After installation it will work fine for a while and after not using it for a period of time it gives me a message that it is damaged and to reinstall it. I've done this on numerous occasions and the same thing happens after a gap between uses. Needless to say it is becoming very frustrating and annoying. I have windows 10 and as far as I know it is compatible with it. Does anyone have an answer.
