Elements 14...HELP!

I have used Elements 14 for a couple of years and love it.  However all of a sudden, after finishing in camera raw and completing the edit to get the PSD file, the original RW file is now identical to the final edited file!!!  What's happened to the original??

    Hi,

    Which operating system are you running on?

    What camera are you using?

    Do you download via the organizer and then open in the editor?

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for responding so quickly.

    My operating system is windows 10.

    Camera is Lumix FZ 200.

    Yes I download via organiser and then open in editor.

    Hi Pete,

    I have just tried a simple test with PSE 14-Windows 1o and the raw file was still there as was the new PSD file.

    If I open the raw file again the you can see the previous camera raw changes but not the editor changes.

    Where do you see them being both the same?

    Have tried opening the raw file again?

    Have you changed the preferences in camera raw - there is one that updates the jpg image embedded in the raw filed?
