When I an in the filters screen and click OK I lose the changes when it goes back to the original screen. Does anyone know why?

I have the same problem (and it seems only since the last Windows update). The changes appear in the filter screen and all the filters work fine (filters that come with the program not using additional add-ins) but when I click on OK and it goes back to the original, the changes are not applied. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and still didn't help.

I uninstalled the update and it now works fine but unfortunately I didn't take note of the update name, I did it by date of the latest one that installed but it was a windows security update. Will keep you posted.

It's Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB4013429. It has now installed the update and again and now the filters have stopped working again.

Can you tell us the steps you are using?

When I am on the main work page, I click on filters at top of page and then distort>liquefy. It then goes to a filters page where I make my changes then I click on OK. The photo goes back to the original screen but the changes are not saved. Maybe one time out of five the changes will save.

It seems to be working OK for me on W10 using the warp, twirl or any tool. After clicking OK I use File >> Save As and use a different file name to save a copy.

I can’t explain why it is not working for you. Are you working on a regular jpeg image?

You could try deleting the preferences. Go to:

Edit >> Preferences >> General (tab) on Windows

PSE Editor >> Preferences >> General (tab) on Mac OS

Click the button to reset prefs on next launch.
