elements 14- worst software out

after using photoshop for many years, all of the software working as stated ,elements 14 is crap. many of the functions don't work, all the help you can get is useless ,with no results. installing, lost all my tags,  all my albums. still had all the pics, ,  many functions don't work, photomerge, and blur tool last two I tried to use. using on windows 10, have seen many post on same subjects, with no resolution's . have reinstalled with no help, loaded default settings ,no help, is their a fix, or discount for something that does work, or do I have to go back to elements 10 ??? or some other company's software, feeling so disappointed in the company's software
