Elements 15 and Intuous tablet

Heyoo,

I just downloaded the trial version of PSE15 onto my laptop to make sure it works before I buy it and I can't get pressure sensitivity to work with my Intuous Pen+Touch medium. I've been using PSE11 for years on my desktop at home before now and it's worked fine. I updated the driver for my tablet so that's up to date. Yes, I restarted my laptop, have opened and closed PSE, unplugged my tablet...didn't skip any of the basic stuff. I'm not sure where to go from here and I haven't found anything official for this so any help is appreciated.

(edit) also, pen pressure works in FireAlpaca and any other programs I have. I do have the box checked for size under 'tablet settings'.
