Elements 15 - Does not open

Good afternoon,

I had purchased and installed elements 15 and it was working flawlessly. Doing NOTHING different, I opened elements to start a new project but this time, it won't advance from the Welcome Screen when clicking the elements icon. Minutes prior, I had opened the program the same way and it worked just fine.  Receiving no "error" messages and task manager says program is running properly. I can't open anything or create a blank project. Help please.

    Close everything via task manager, log off, then shut down computer. Wait a minute and start up computer again, then try to open PSE.

    Just tried it, to no avail.

    Still stuck in the welcome menu after clicking the "photo editor". It looks as though it is trying to load for there is a blue line right under the icon with a white light streaming back and forth. Any other ideas as to how we can fix this? Am I the only one experiencing this (just curious)?

    I just tried opening my trial version of Premier Elements 15 and that opened up just fine. Seems to be the photo editor that is having the issues. Hopefully this helps.
