Elements 15 - Editor Save Faults?

Just upgraded to Elements 15

So why when you are in EXPERT edit mode there is no X box by the photo to close editing and allow save options? (As per Elements 12) Instead you have to go to FILE then SAVE AS.

Also why when you are in GUIDED edit mode when you finish a quick edit you can go to QUICK EDIT or EXPERT EDIT but not continue with another Guided edit?

Seems to be a backward step to me - or am I missing something?
