ELEMENTS 15 "installation failed to initialize" NEW MAC

I am trying to install elements 15 on my new MacBook Pro and get a message "Installation Failed to Initialize."  I've looked on Youtube for help but found nothing for Elements 15 for a new Mac.  Can anyone offer any help?  Thanks!!!!

    Hi Norman,

    Please try out the solutions mentioned at following link :

    Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file.

    This thread is in reference to Creative Cloud app but the solution `would apply to Elements as well.

    Please mention if the issue still persists.
