Elements 15 licensing

I have a iMac desktop and a windows format laptop that I travel with.  Is it true that i have to buy two downloads, l for each format at double the cost (200)?  how difficult is it working with two different formats, i.e. working on the laptop while traveling and then moving to iMac when i get home.

    As mentioned by John, you can download the trial from link Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 as per your required OS.

    If you buy the boxed version from a store or on-line reselles such as Amazon, Costco etc you get a multi-platform version with disks that will work with Mac & Windows.

    You can still install from the Adobe download/free trial and simply validate with the serial number from inside the box.
