elements 15 [on Windows crashes when clicking on Editor]

i downloaded elements 15 and each time i click on photo editor it closes the program. adobe says it's a microsoft problem. microsoft says it's an adobe problem!! any insight?

    Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

    I understand you are facing issue with the crash of Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.

    Please check & follow this article for reference.

    You can also try the following steps

    - Open CMD as "Administrator"

    - Type this command  netsh winsock reset

    - Hit Enter

    - Restart your machine

    - Open Elements & check

      Which version of Windows?

      What is the exact error message? Can you post a screenshot?
