Elements 15 Organsier has stopped working

I have just bought and installed Photoshop Elements 15 to replace Elements 9 as I was getting this message with the older version. The whole installation went well until it started trying to upload images then I got this message followed by 'A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.' The program has not closed and no solution has been offered. What should I do? I am NOT Techy

    1. By uploading, do you mean importing images into Organizer?

    What happens after you re-launch Organizer and do not add any media?

    Do you have videos in your catalog?

    I'm having the same issue, except I'm not even able to open the application to import pictures.
