Hello,

I am trying to create HDR images. I am using 7 different exposure RAW files. I am going to the "Guided" tab, selecting "Photomerge". Everything works fine, the HDR file is created, I can see it. Then my only option is clicking "Next" at the bottom right. I do not have a "Done" botton. After clicking "Next", I lose the merged file. I have no option for saving the merged file. This is so frustrating! HELP!!!

I’m not seeing this. When you refer to HDR do you mean photomerge exposure? Or are you using some third party plug in?

I’m using PSE 2019 and when I click expert I see the merged exposure as Layer 1 with a background layer below.

I have 7 photos, shot in RAW, from a tripod, 7 different exposures of the exact same image. I am using the photomerge plugin provided with Photoshop Elements 15. I am able to merge all the photos and see the HDR output while still in photomerge. Once I click NEXT, the photo is gone and Elements jumps back to the GUIDED tab and my merged image is gone. If I click on the EXPERT tab, the merged file is not there as a layer. When I am in the GUIDED tab and I can see my merged HDR image, I do not have the option to save it, the only option I have is to click NEXT, and then it disappears. Hey ADOBE, why don't you jump in and help me out here!!!!!

After clicking next you can normally choose expert mode, Then use the menu:

    File >> Save As

Once I switch back to expert mode, I don't have the merged file anymore, just one of the 7 RAW files.
