Elements 18 Organiser keeps crashing

Hi

I downloaded the trial version of PSE 2018 to try out, and it worked ok for about a week. 

I can now not open the organiser without it crashing - has anyone else come across this as an issue?

The Editor opens fine

    Hi,

    Can you provide more information about the issue? Which OS are you using? You have mentioned that it worked fine for a week and then it started to crash. Did you upgrade your OS in the meantime? You can try to create a new catalog in organizer and see if the Organizer launches fine.

    Steps to create new catalog:

    1.Open Organizer.

    2.Press shift key while the organizer is open. Catalog manager dialog will open.

    3.In the dialog, click on New in the upper right corner, specify new catalog name in the following dialog and click OK.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem.  I have looked for two weeks and cannot find a reasonable solution to this issue.  I tried your suggestion  but as field500 said, " Organizer crashes when it loads so how do you press the shift key when it's open?  Try opening Organizer and press "SHIFT" while it is attempting to load, that seems to work as I have made it to the page you are talking about.  It's just to bad that I have to wait a few hours so my 40,000 pictures load into organizer.  I sure hope I don't have to identify all those faces again. I am very disappointed with this product and considering how many others complain about crashes I'm not alone.  I only wish I had done my homework before I made the purchase. But I'm willing to try and make it work, so I'll get back to you on whether your solution actually works, ...  I am using Windows 10, 64 bit and it has crashed from the start at various times, in Organizer and during editing.
