@ViolaK. , if you purchased from Adobe, you should be entitled to a free upgrade to Elements 2024. Contact Adobe support.

@ViolaK., users who have purchased Elements from Adobe within a short period before a new version is released are normally able to get a free upgrade.

@Peru Bob, do you have a link showing that Elements 2024 has been released? The Adobe.com site is only showing Elements 2023. Some retailers have broken the embargo. One user has reported purchasing a copy from BestBuy. I have asked for confirmation whether they are able to register their serial number. Amazon UK has indicated that it will not be available until Thursday.

Added: And I have now seen that Amazon UK has taken down their information about the program.

I just bought 2023 Version. I have to work... cannot wait. It is the 5th time I bought it... 😩

I suggest you contact Apple about fixing its OS to work with legacy software. I doubt whether Adobe is going to fix something that Apple broke. The prime job of an OS is to allow software programs to operate. Apple's latest OS does not do that even for the most recent version of Elements. Hopefully, Sonoma will be fully compatible with Elements 2024. But we won't know that until the program is released.

It was released today, but Adobe hasn't yet posted the supported OS other than "Windows or Mac".
