Elements 2018 keeps crashing

When I open Elements 2018, it freezes up shortly after the editor opens. I don't receive any error messages or anything, it just becomes unresponsive. I'm able to open documents and start to edit for sevearl seconds after it opens

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
