Elements 2018 trial

On changing my camera Elements 10 would not load my RAW files so I had to upgrade to Elements 14. I then found that 14 did not work with my Wacom tablet so had to switch between 10 and 14 to do any editing. I have read that Elements 2018 was now compatible with my tablet and downloaded the trial version. I tried a simple edit and was informed of a memory issue and how to fix it by changing a preference setting. On trying this an error message came up about an integer range and the program locked up. On the forum it said that it was a known fault (why has Adobe not addressed this) and a register change had to be done. I did this but the error still occurs.

If adobe wants me to upgrade then this is not the way it is done. I am so glad that I did not purchase the software first as at present it would be a waste of money.

Has anybody been able to put a support ticket direct to Adobe without being continually looped back to the forum?

What operating system are you using?

    You followed the directions here:

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

I have Windows 10 that is up to date. I have changed the registry as per other discussions on the forum.

And you double checked with the above link to make sure you added the right registry key at the right location?
