Elements 2018 will not open after working for several days

My Elements 2018 will not open after several days of usage.  I then get a message telling me I had a damaged install and to reinstall.  I have done the reinstall many, many times hoping that this time It will install correctly on my Windows 10 PC.  I have been downloading from my account page using my order number and my serial number when the program asks for it.  Is this a problem for others?  If so, is there a fix for this?  I have lost edited photos doing this uninstall, reinstall thing. I finally started exporting edited photos before I exit. 

I have used Elements 10, 11 and 14 prior to the purchase of 16 and never, ever had this ongoing problem.  Right now I would have to say that upgrading to 16 was a total waste of money!

    Could you please share the exact error message and a screenshot of the error that you get at the end of reinstall.

    Also it woud be helpful, if you could open the install.log file and check for any errors at the end of file.

    File can be found here: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Install.log'

    Or you can simply download and use Log collector tool from here: Log Collector Tool  and check for any installation errors in the logs collected by log collector tool.
