Elements 2019 Replace color not working properly

I have a B&W picture that I am colorizing.

I have converted it to RGB, and I have colored many areas with no problem.

I am trying to replace the color some teeth from a flesh color to white.

Teeth before color change:

I set the foreground to white using the color picker tool.

Then I tried to color the teeth white using the Color Replacement Tool.

After using the Color Replacement Tool

Notice the blueish-grey cast rather than white.
