Elements 2020 crashes when go to print

Running Windows 10. all of a sudden Photoshop Elements 2020 will not print. It immediately shuts down.  It has been working fine until now.  I tried to recreate a new preferences file by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift immediately after starting PS. but that did not work.

Should I uninstall PS and reinstall or what?

Do you mean you were unable to get the reset preferences dialog?  If so, go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button. Relaunch the program and the preferences will be reset.
