Elements 2020 Frequently Crashes with MAC Monterey 12.1

I am using Canon's Print Studio Pro 2.2.5 with Elements 18.0. Everything works as it should except if I happen to strike any letter on the keyboard after the print job is finished, Elements freezes.  Any one have an idea why this would happen?  Thanks.
