Elements 2022 - how remove spots on photos. The tuitorials are not updated for 2022.

Elements 2022 - how do you reove spots on photos.  The techique in the tutorial for 2018 does not work.  When you use the lasso tool to select what you want to remove you get some error message about not enough pixels.  ugh.  This was pretty sinple in Elements 2018.

And... one of my big peeves - there is no spellcheck in Elements but there is here to edit these posts.
