Elements 2022 Photo Editor frozen

Just purchased Elements 2022 for my new high-spec, Windows 11 laptop. Can access the Organiser, but the program freezes completely when trying to access the Photo Editor; can only exit via Task Manager. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and have turned the laptop off a few times, but exactly the same problem. Any ideas, please?
