Elements 2024 crashes when I try to print

I have been Elements for some time, and currently use versoin 2024.    starting about a week ago, when ever I click on print within Elements the program shuts down.   I have updated my HP print driver, rebooted etc.

then I uninstalled Elements and re-installed, rebooting between them.     No improvement.   I downloaded ver 2026 demo, and that prints fine.  I am not crazy about pay $100 for 2026, especially since it is now only a 3 yr lease.

Any good ideas?
