elements 2024 People tags disappeared

Win 11, Elements and Premier elements 2024. Went use after adding some photos. I went to run un-tagged pics and a whole lot came up. It turns up all the people/person tags were gone. All the other tags were there. Also noted in Windows that my Pictures directory was re-named Videos. All pictures and videos can be found. Not sure what happened.

Please show us a screenshot of the unnamed tags in the People room. What version of Elements were you using before Elements 2024.

Are any of your people tags found under the Imported Keyword Tags category?

If you go to the Named People tab for All People, are there any stacks of faces?

If you have any stacks there, what happens if you click on the Media or Faces links underneath?

Hi, there are stacks with no names. I can add names idividually to the faces. I normally add name tags manually which all disappered. I can go through and add everyone here. Some where over all the releases they added the recognition so I had name tages from that process and names that I created. Very strange how all the name tags I created disappeared.

You haven't given us much information to go on.

What do you mean you "went to run un-tagged pics and a whole lot came up"? Are you saying that you have a lot of unexpected stacks in the UnNamed People tab? Did you possibly click on the Preferences button to Reset Face Analysis (and overrode the warnings that you will lose all of your face recognition tags)?

Do you also mean that you have no People tags in the Named People tab, but that all of your regular keyword tags are present?

all people were either tagged by face analysis or manually adding a person tag to a photo. If I select an individual person tag to see all the photos no one comes up. All the person tags have been removed from my photos. All other tags are still present, ie: location, event etc.
