elements 2025

Question

I just got elements 2025. I do not see or cant find the cookie cutter, which I used a lot with my old version. Is it there or just gone? Also I used to be able to click on layers in my workspace, now I have to go the the layer panel on the right and choose. Is there a way to fix that? I'll get used to it but I really liked the other way better.

You can also type C as a keyboard shortcut to get to the Crop/Cookie Cutter which will be found in the Tool Options bin shown by Glenn.

As for selecting layers by clicking, make sure you have Auto Select Layer checked in the Tool Options panel for the Move tool. IIRC, nothing has changed with that option in many versions.
