Question

Elements 2025 Conflict with Rosetta

I recently upgraded my Mac.  I have Rosetta installed for my Office programs.  I tried to edit a photo in Elements 2025 and got the message that it wouldn’t edit because of Rosetta.  I can’t delete Rosetta and can’t find a way to turn it off to use Elements.  Help, please!!

When you say you upgraded your Mac, does that mean you got a new one or you upgraded the macOS on your existing Mac?

Regardless, it would be helpful to know what version of macOS your running?

Your not able to open Photoshop Elements 2025 at all?

If Photoshop Elements 2025 does open, what particular action is triggering that message?

If you are not able to post a screenshot of the message, can you tell us the exact wording of the message?

    Try this:
    Close Photoshop Elements 2025

    Locate it in Applications.

Right-click it and choose Get Info.

Look for a checkbox labeled "Open using Rosetta”.

If that box is checked, uncheck it.

Close the Info window and restart Photoshop Elements.
