elements 2025 crashes when importing photos

I’m using Windows 11, photoshop elements 2025 freezes when I try to import or get photos from files.

Thanks for the advice. My problem was with the organizer. I can import using the Editor. I reset Preferences back to default and closed and restarted Elements 2025 Organizer. The Organizer still locks up if I try to Import. I can only exit Organizer using Task Manager to end it.

sign out of the editor.
uninstall the editor- when asked about keeping your preferences you can select “nope get rid of them” (not really but you get the idea)
redownload pse 2025 from the product page in your adobe account (that part is important)
4. reinstall it.
