elements 22 crash and freeze

Question

I have used elements for many yerar starting with elments 9 and never had any problems. I am now using elements 22 and it freezes about every other day, I have lost so much of my work . Please help!

I have the same problems: PE 22 freezes constantly in the expert mode. After 8 photographs I have to give "Ctrl-alt- del" and start again. It's terrible and it takes days to photoshop my photo's.

Please help!! I can not find the answers on the internet. I use een updated windows 11 desktop and I use the updated PE 22. PLEASE HELP

If you are using the Organizer and have a large catalog, the automatic media analysis that takes place in the background can be a cause of such freezes.  In the Organizer, go to Edit>Preferences>Media Analysis and  uncheck all the boxes to see if it makes a difference.  Otherwise, I suggest you contact Elements support.
